Using a CAVS 202G II at home and a CAVS 203G for my friends karaoke bar. I had a (actually 3) acesonic 105. returned each in turn, too many quirky problems or undocumented "features" as acesonic refers to them.

Pioneer V870 Laser/CDG player - best player ever made, plays everything (minus DVD).
Pioneer V10 Twin Tray - would buy again, however mine has never been completely reliable.
JVC Single tray - Would definitely buy again, doesn't play burned discs reliably like the Pioneers.

RSQ Triple Tray and Pioneer Twin.  No problems with either.  The Pioneer has some added niceties like time remaining, quicker read, autopause, etc.  I would recommed both though - good units/reliable.

I have a JVC 303 triple tray which I would definately buy again. This one, however, has been relegated to setup #2 and replaced by the Numark 25G, which I think is the best rack-mountable player out there....less functionality than the JVC, but the best and fastest disc tracking I have ever seen in a very reliable unit. I'd buy another one of these again as well!!

I have an RSQ- 333 (I think its 333).  Same 3 tray player as the JVC variety that ALOT of people seem to have.  Works well even with disks I burn myself.

Use PC as well.  Actually that seems better if I could get a good setup (e.g. mixer) with the PC, mic, amp.

Nice to see others already have it and like theirs.  :D

heheheh babs... I want ya all hot and bothered... you'll be fun at your gig tonight!

they're old pics taken by Tig's digital camera.

But the roadcase, the player, the amp, and the basic computer setup is still the same. In the first pic, tig was using the computer as a player for the mp3s... thru PCDJ-Red... probably the best software I've ever used... and he's got a lot more experience with it than I do.

On the next picture, you can see my hand on my new computer, but not the equipment...

Completely computerized. Won't go back to discs but if I really had to, I would choose the Pioneer twin tray as it's been very reliable. Tried the JVC single tray and hated it.
