I bought some Sound Choice CDGs on EBay and they are sealed in soft plastic sleeves. I’ve never seen Sound Choice discs in this “cheaper” packaging. Also the discs themselves look different. The silk screening on the label side goes all the way to the edge of the disc. The playable side of the disc has a blue tint like a CDR.

Has anyone seen discs like this? They look like bootleg copies (very good ones).

The guy I bought them from said he bought them directly from Sound Choice in 2009.

They went to sleeves around 2009.

I had questioned a foundation series purchase I'd made from Ebay, and it was confirmed that SlepTone had stopped mastering their discs, they were just burning them and silkscreening the faces of the discs. I guess all those lawsuits left Kurt on his keester.

Interesting. That explains the blue tint to the track side of the discs. That’s why I thought they looked like really good bootleg copies. I purchased 100’s of SC discs up until about 2008 when I quit doing public shows and they always had the normal production chrome track side.
