By request, a new app for receiving SingNext.com request slips outside Karma https://www.karaosoft.com/ProductDetail ... eiver.aspx Now users of other hosting apps and even Disc based KJs can receive virus-free digital request slips from SingNext.com with any windows laptop. Cannot be run at the same time as Karma and it will tell you when you try. If you're running Karma, you still need to use the built-in slips panel. This app shares the common data folder so both apps will store and show the same slips stored on the local machine, so if a non-Karma user switches to Karma, the same slips will show up. Also works in reverse, so any Karma user can switch to something else and still receive slips in the same stack. *This app only uses the less-expensive manual slips (3 cents/slip) so the KJ is still required to queue songs. Automatic mode with auto-queuing can still only happen when the channel is opened from Karma. |
