:!: New studies indicate that enclosed crowded situations have an extreme multiplying effect on the number of infections, especially in venues such as bars, restaurants, air planes, casinos, and sporting events. Not so much on outside activities where social distancing can be maintained. This will especially become an issue when flu season comes back around in the Fall and Winter, when more people will be forced inside by the weather. Today the new infection case rate increase is 24,000 people in 24 hrs, nationally, about 1,000 people an hour. This is something to keep in mind as KJ's consider going back to work.

P.S. A little note for our friend Mr.Scott. Your analysis that rural low density areas fair better, seems to be upheld, since reports indicate that such counties now have few cases, due mainly to their remoteness. The number of counties reporting no infections is dropping all the time, currently there are about 200 counties reporting no cases. That is down by 40 counties over the last week. Still keep in mind that we are still in the early stages of this pandemic, and will not be out of the woods until an approved vaccine is widely available, continued good luck.

I have no doubt in my mind that the Corona Virus is going to wipe us all out. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, we're all going to die from it.

Why? Because nobody will come together and do what it takes to conquer it. For example, a lock down will not work unless it's universal. You can't have some states on a lock down while others are free to do what they want. You can't have government officials going against our scientists and medical experts and then lying and deceiving the American people. You can't have businesses re-open just because they want to, if they're under a stay at home order.

It's so sad, but because there is no unity, the human race will soon be gone. As I've said many times, the human race is the stupidest specie on the planet.

:!: Cheer up Alan even The Black Death which broke out at two different times only killed one third of the populations of Asia and Europe, and health care was primitive then, compared to now. The last time we had an outbreak of The Black Death, it was followed by the Italian Renaissance. The herd will get thinned, from what I have seen those most at risk are the one's who take needless chances. I'm just lucky that I can stay isolated for as long as necessary. In that way I'm doing my part and not spreading whatever germs I may or may not have. You see I don't know because testing still is not widely available. Unless of course you are connected and belong to the administration, then you can get tested everyday.

Despite the claims of fearless leader, I doubt he is taking Hydroxychloroquine, I kinda wish he was, since he thinks it is so good for everybody. He has two health factors that would make this a bad move, his age, and his weight, since it is plain to see he is obese. Like Neil Cavuto said on Fox don't do it, it will kill you. Something the FDA has come out and said basically. As usual Trump doesn't listen to his own experts.

 One thing all KJ's should keep in mind when going back to work hosting. The United States of America has 31% of all reported cases of virus in the world, and 29% of the deaths in the world. This is most troubling since we are only 4% of the world's population. We are still in the early stages of this pandemic. The soonest we can expect an effective vaccine, even going a warp speed will be sometime in 2021. We might get a lull in the action in the Summer, but we still have to get through the Fall and Winter. Everyone stay safe so you can enjoy 2021, hopefully with an effective vaccine available?

In my opinion, at this time, no bar should be offering entertainment. And nobody should be hosting karaoke.

Entertainment such as bands and karaoke are meant to draw in a crowd... and that's the last thing you want to do right now, especially since there is no vaccine.

People don't follow the rules. If you think for one minute, people in the bar are going to distance themselves from one another and wear masks, think again. And I doubt you'll be seeing them going to the rest rooms to periodically wash their hands.

So, regardless of how many precautions you take, people don't care, and don't want to follow the rules which is evident by the selfish group of singers at mrscott's bar who refuse to use mic covers that can help save lives. I really can't figure out why they're so against it though except that they're a bunch of stupid f--ks. It's not going to change the sound any and they'd be helping to prevent germs from spreading.

Now, not everyone is stupid like that. There are a lot of people who care and want to do the right thing. They're the ones that will follow the rules and stay home. The rest will be at the bar doing what they want.

Anyway, this is not the time to bring back karaoke or to go back to hosting.

:!: It all comes down to leadership and setting an example for others to follow Alan, the president himself sends mixed messages. Officially it's his own guidelines he is violating by setting the example of not wearing a mask. Further research has shown that wiping down surfaces which might help, is just a small part of staying safe. At least 80% of air born transmission would be stopped if everyone in public wears a mask. Being inside also has a multiplying effect on the virus transmissions, wearing a mask is not so much protecting yourself, but it is keeping others from getting the virus if you happen to be a carrier. Simply wearing a mask is a matter of showing that you respect others right to live, germ free.

You can see quite clearly the example of Wisconsin, the bars open again everyone crowded together, giving high fives, hugging each other, not wear masks. That happened a little over a week ago, about mid June we will see the net result of such activity, and if it spikes the infection and death rates in that state. One thing government can't do is protect people from their own stupidity, in this country you have the right it seems to endanger others, in order to follow your own selfish desires. This is the society we have become, gone is the generation who felt it was important to work for the good of everyone. We have become a nation where the minority can defy common sense health safety regulations, because they are tired of fighting this war after only a couple of months. Where would we be today if our parents and grandparents gave up and let Germany, Italy, and Japan have their way in WWII?
