I recently went to a bar that had music bingo before karaoke. The guy was using a Behringer XR12 and 2 full sixed Bose sticks and b2 Bass models.
I enjoyed singing on the system. Enjoyed listening to others singing on it as well. Didn't sound lacking in anything in the sound quality department. I should have gone with my original choice of the full sized Bose system instead of the JBL. The experience also got me looking at the digital mixer as well.

I have YET to have that experience, several different shows now - including trying them myself for a week (granted it was when they were still marketed as personal audio systems (ie monitors) - which they excelled at). Last ones I heard even included a lot of feedback.

Same here. I have also sang on them and wasn't very impressed.

Danny, if you liked them, great,,, but just know that there are other choices out there for linear systems. I believe that Bose has it's place, but is not the best value for money spent vs other systems. Like Lonnie, I have listened to a total of 5 separate Bose systems, and all of them fell dreadfully short of what I would want in a sound system.

Don't get me wrong, I have absolutely no interest in getting another line array system. But I would definitely go back and sing on It again.

Do you realize that you just made yourself look like a total imbecile with your response. A response in which you are totally wrong...

In modern English the normal past tense form of “sing” is “sang.” It's not “she sung the anthem” but “she sang the anthem.”.

I suggest doing the research and getting the facts before posting.

However, you can still use the word “sung” if used after a helping verb: “She has sung the anthem”. 8)

I just like the phrase "Grammar Nazi", which has absolutely nothing to do with Bose.

Speaking of Bose....

I am traveling and was in Lebanon Tennessee last night and had the first opportunity to sing on a Bose system. First of all let me say the host was fabulous and she was definitely taking pride in her craft. However, the Bose system she had "lacked" in bass response. It just didn't have any "oomph" to it. The sound was otherwise "adequate", but definitely NOT outstanding. The bar itself was set up pretty good, and her placement of her 2 sticks was also far enough from the walls to be efficient (about 5 feet), but the sound was still not what I would call "bragging rights".

I did have fun tho, and that is what counts.

I'm currently using two L1 Model II w/B2's, and a T4S stereo mixer.

It's the best sounding small system I've had to date, and I've had just about everything over the years. YMMV

I am correct! However, if you want to go around and sound like a functional illiterate, you're perfectly free to do so. By the way, in your query to me, you forgot to use a question mark. Please don't hate me because I use proper grammar, punctuation, and love my BOSE system.

I don't hate anybody. Even those who use Bose speakers.

I agree. Robin, I have the same – Bose L1 Model II with B2 subwoofer and T4S Tonematch Audio Engine. It delivers hard pumpin’ bass and high clarity sound.

Question please @ MrScott: You mentioned the kj was using two bose sticks. Was there a B2 sub? and/or T4s? Thanks.

No, I think it may have been an older system. It was pretty "plain Jane" if you ask me.

You guys need to hear the "Pro" Bose products like the BOSE MA12 arrays (Powered by a single Bose Packlite A1 amp) along with a single F1 Sub for low bass.

I find I have to blend in the bass volume at the beginning of each show but after that I get hundreds of outstanding compliments at my shows and I just set them up using the presets from the Bose T4S Digital mixer.

In my opinion, I just wanted to mention that if anyone decides on purchasing a Bose series system, I recommend adding an F1 sub for that ultimate clean sound and low bass.

Why anyone would want to purchase a Bose system is beyond me.
