If so can someone lead me in the right direction to purchase or dl mp3g toolz? I don't know which web site to use that's reliable

If you can afford it. Songverter from www.mtu.com is pretty good otherwise I would suggest Pilot Songbook Creator which does more than just songbooks. You can rename the files to your liking and either zip or unzip them.

http://www.softsea.com/download/MP3+G-Toolz.html
Go to the middle of the page and click on "MP3+G Toolz Free Download"
Do NOT click on the green "Start Now" button
Some have had issues running on Win 10...I have not, it works fine for me on Win 10.

i stopped using it because even though you can set it to rip at 320K if you look at the ripped file it was actually ripped at 128K.

so I purchased songverter just so I could rip at a higher level.

Yeah, I've never used for ripping actually only for unzipping, running mp3Gain and zipping back up at 0% compression.

RLC, you are aware that the only file that gets compressed when zipped is the graphic file. So you aren't losing any audio quality when zipping.

Yes. It is my personal compromise between totally unzipped and zipped...kind of like having the two files in a separate folder but requires one additional click to open...kind of an OCD thing for me. :P

RLC, I can understand that! I have plenty of OCD issues myself. For instance I have a lack of patience for people that don't keep their sidewalks clean of mold (I live in Florida and sidewalks turn black) and dirt. I have purchased more than 40 gallons of bleach and several pump up sprayers, and I am on a one man mission to clean up our 82 home community.
