The Prince estate released some of his songs on a limited license under Universal a few months ago. KSF has them on their site. The no-fly list displayed is only from the 4 majors and Bruce Springsteen is under Downtown Music (not considered one of the 4 majors). He's still restricted.

All of the above listed artists are available for download from SBI and other U.K. karaoke sites.

And all of the above listed artists songs will still be bought and still be sung. Your list means nothing except how music publishers can be so anal.

I agree if people want the songs bad enough they will still get them or make them

I never said they weren't available from manus that don't give a rip. Just showing the current list - nothing more.

May happen from manus that don't abide by the rules - just as this one did.

Maybe because IT IS Funny (SMH Funny) to see yet another manu have no respect for the "rules" as you put it. It's so funny it's pathetic!!!

Reminds one of SC and their hypocrisy of not getting legal permission to release songs and pressing more copies than agreed upon, and of many other manus that kept putting profits over doing what's right. Sign of the times.

Maybe it's especially funny to see that the cheerleader have nothing to cheer about. The great OZ has been exposed by a Chip off the old block and is finally slowing down the stream of false promises they can't commit to or deliver.

Anything put out today is just as legal as anything put out by Music Maestro, All hits, Top Hits Monthly or any of the many karaoke producers that broke the rules i n the early days of karaoke. Nobody cared about legalities back then and most people don't care about the legalities now. Most KJ's only care about getting the songs that their customers want to sing. There is a very small group of KJ's who wish to preach to the rest of the KJ's what is right and what is wrong. This forum is so much like a ghost town these days because the average KJ or the average karaoke enthusiast doesn't want to be lectured any longer by a handful of KJ's who think that they are better than the rest. Nobody, well practically nobody, feels guilty about getting music for free any longer. Being told that it's wrong won't make it go away. The genie is out of the bottle and no amount of guilt shaming will change it at this point. Do you really think that the pirates care one bit that you call them pirates? They have over 400,000 songs on their hard drives and their singers are very happy about it. Sound Choice hasn't produced a song in over a decade but the internet is full of home made songs that Sound Choice never would have made in the first place and people here want to tell other people not to use these illegal songs but keep playing that SC8125 disc all you want. LOL

OR, they actually DID get permission, like Mike Yelvington's group did, with certain "No Flies".
Everyone, always, assumes that people are nothing but crooks. It is kind of sad.

I thought SBI was abiding by the rules.

Everyone was pretty sure that the Backstage Eagles disc was produced illegally but everyone bought it and used it at their shows for years. The same people now have their own agenda about what is legal and what isn't and they try to influence others into thinking the same way that they think. It's a waste of time. If someone is selling something on the internet; it is not up to me to discover if they have dotted every "I" and crossed every "T". I buy whatever songs that appeal to me and I don't care who doesn't like it. I also drive over the speed limit; as do most people. I don't think either one of those actions are what is going to keep me out of heaven. There are people out there killing each other every day but Jesus is going to keep me out of heaven because I bought some songs from BKD and SBI????

If a song is put out by whoever regardless if its legal or not...and they can get it..they will..not saying its right ...but you can only control what you do.
even though U2 is on the no fly list Ill bet you there will be a lot of people get it any way
