This is the 3rd year at the beergarden for this Toughbook digital karaoke songbook.
Hot sun beating down on it for 12hrs/day every day.
Hail storm, heavy rain and winds on Saturday afternoon did not stand a chance with the Panasonic CF-30

Can't say much for the TV though as it blew up after just a few minutes.

It doesn't look like the weather is good for anything or anyone, except for someone dumb enough to leave their laptop (intentionally) in the rain. :?

I wouldn't be stupid enough to have my stuff in the rain in the first place, don't care what brand it is. Once rain starts - everything gets moved under cover.

I somewhat agree with Lonman, but hey if the product is designed to do what it's intended for why not.

I just bid on a Sunbrite 32" TV on eBay $800.00 The SunBrite TV is also designed to be Ultra tough and also weather resistant.

I'm pretty sure the post was in jest.

Where is your sense of humor and why so much negativity?

Besides, it shows how a tough book can handle some beer...or rain.

Guarantee more than a few kjs will consider or re-consider getting one now...

Can't wait for the video of it falling off a table

Again, don't care if it can be submerged underwater - i'm not going to put my equipment through it. Plain dumb!

come on Lonman, ya gotta' live on the edge sometime.

By the way for those interested in the Kiosk Digital songbook software. I had it custom made from "Grahams Karaoke software. He does good work in building reliable software for use in extreme conditions and works very well with the Toughbook laptops.

"come on" KNF, if you can avoid stupid why wouldn't you? Your video shows nothing but a total lack of responsibility, and very poor stage layout.

For once I agree with you, KNF. Graham’s Karaoke. Love it! Been using it for years & don’t need an internet connection. Interactive typing. Type two words of the song, or two to three letters of the artist & it will start searching showing results as you go along for those letters typed without pressing ‘enter’.

I purchased the graham’s karaoke database song search, not interested in the complete kiosk & dj package. Great customer support. He will try to accommodate requests & tweak the software to suit your preference at no additional cost.

‘but I don’t agree with you, re: exposing laptop to extreme conditions. Not gonna do it just to prove it’s really waterproof, water-resistant and water-repellent or even if your laptop looks like a brick.

http://grahamskaraokesystem.com

looks like he is re-vamping his website. Looks like some generic template there in place.
He lives just 35 minutes from me, I can provide contact info if u need in PM.

I dropped off a 32" ELO Touch screen display at his place for to use with his future projects. Looks like Graham may have some new products coming soon for the karaoke market.

I emailed Graham T. earlier today to check if he's still in business. I really hope so, or I'll be SOL. When his website goes online again I think I'll buy another, install that to another pc so I can have a back-up.

thanks knf. You'll be my second contact (just in case). 8)
