Usher is sang at our shows at least a couple times a month. The main ones that get done the most are Nice & Slow, OMG, U Got It Bad.

The most often performed R&B around here is mostly old Motown music.

an artist who gets done 3 times per month at a venue that has karaoke every day doesn't seem to be a very popular choice. Let's just say you get 50 songs done per show and there are 30 shows per month. 3 songs out of 1500 songs is roughly 1/5 of one percent. Not exactly a big number.

I never considered it a 'big number' nor did I say it. I said he gets done a couple times a month and which songs usually get done when sung. But Usher in general got sung 25 times last year at our show. Considering the top most sung song the entire year last year was only sang 87 times total - I can consider him done fairly regular.

I played an African American club - got requests for Usher once or twice a month.

He's not easy to sing, but the thing is you never know who is going to walk in, get all excited that you have something nobody else has and continue to patronize your show because you have that one song or you are willing to get it just for them.
