Zoom is releasing a Soul/Motown line March 1st. Looks like its 6 separate CDs (Instead of a box set) So I wonder if there will be more volumes in the future.

Heres the link:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Zoom-Karaoke-C ... 983HC0N24X

I didn't look at the song list yet, but I am sure there will be some crossover with other sets/ZPA disks.

I figure these will be in my hands come mid March :D

I have every song on that list already.

Hey KBKaraoke is Zoom doing the 2017 releases like they did the 2016 series?

I assumed most serious KJs would have most of the tracks already, it's more aimed at home users. Sales of CD+G, MP3+G combo machines are still quite high here in the UK so these sort of packs are still selling OK.

The first 2017 disc is at the pressing plant now, should be in the week after next probably (we don't have a definite date yet.

It'll be on eBay as soon as we get them in as usual.

I have most if not all of them soon, considering the age of the music, I'm sure most KJs have a good portion of them.

I'm still gonna pick up 2 copies of each though, When we advertise 'new' product, we usually get some good crowd response on those tracks. So I'm getting ready to hear a whole lotta soul soon :D

Can't wait for the 2017 Zoom PCP stuff. I did like the Zoom AC001 CD, looking forward to more in that line as well!

May I state the following...

Motown defined a genre and a new era in music. There is no better music in this world than that produced by Motown. We don't need anything else. I would have no problem running a show on Motown alone. In fact, whenever someone sings a Motown song, more people get up to dance than anything else. Motown is the Best. I am in the process of discussions with some of my venues on doing dedicated Motown Nights.

So, my friends... there are three things that I want you to know that are the best. They are:

1. Bud Light
2. CompuHost
3. Motown

Thank you. Yes, thank you!

I'm not sure there will be any more Acoustative discs, that one was included free to try to get some feedback on the concept. The sleeve even included a section inviting opinions and suggestions for future tracks to Zoom's Facebook page. Apparently, they have so far had zero reaction to the disc. :(

I'm interested in the Acoustative series.

Perhaps there should be a poll/suggestion page for future production.

karaoke cloud used to do that too...
got as little reaction as the Zoom ones...
neat idea, but not practical for most karaoke shows.

Acoustic series are no big deal here

Acoustic series would have worked well with Dobie Gillis and Maynard G Krebs.

I guess that I lucked out. We'll before Zoom disappeared from Tricerasoft, I was able to get Bon Jovi's acoustic version of Livin' on a prayer. Actually I don't remember where I downloaded it. Maybe it was direct from Zoom before they blocked the US. It's the only version that I can sing and I actually like the arrangement of it better than the studio version.

I have all the songs from zoom volumes 1-6 except:

Automatically Sunshine - Supremes
Cigarettes & Coffee - Otis Redding
Baby Don't Change Your Mind - Glady's Knight
Gonna Make You An Offer You Can't Refuse - Jimmy Helms

You lost all credibility at #1.

At least it was almost beer, it could have been a lot worse, he could have said "Rocky Mountain Cow....".

Brian, I am missing ONLY those also. I am guessing that they have never been made before.

I tend to agree with you as I couldn’t find those songs either.

Do you know if Zoom has plans to release the soul discs as a complete set instead of individual volumes?
