How many have you sold?
Sales information is really none of your business, but I can tell you this: Over the last 3 years, a helluva lot more than you've sold since your brand has produced exactly zero for the last 7 years.

Once again, deflection--and, aside from that, your metric is genuinely asinine. Why is it that, in your mind, only newly recorded material counts as sales?

Over the last 7 years, we've licensed hundreds of GEM series sets--a total of more than 3 million tracks from the GEM series alone. I estimate that over its operational history, Slep-Tone sold somewhere in the range of 70-100 million tracks. I really don't think your sales, whatever they might be, can compare.

But I'm really not interested in knowing how many copies you sold. My point is that the fact that our version might have been popular is irrelevant to whether it would make sense for you to watermark your tracks individually.

Jim,
When it comes to the GEM series, shouldn't it be lease and not sold?

I'm not sure there's an important distinction there as regards this conversation. It's more of a legal distinction than a factual one.

Well, there is a difference between "selling NEW product" and "recycling old tracks." You've also failed to account for the number of infringing tracks that were sold over the years. One lawsuit alone (not EMI) stated there were over 255 from a single publisher. How many tracks in the gem series were infringing from EMI that you settled on?

You can spout large numbers all you like, but you need to subtract the illegally produced ones. And for the CB branded tracks, that's just about all of them.

I've sold exactly zero infringing tracks. So tell me again exactly who has been "doing the right thing?"

Lying to customers about the unique digital watermarking is "doing the right thing"?

That would be zero. And, once again, you deflect.

Look, I get why this topic makes you so uncomfortable that you'll do ANYTHING to stop talking about it. Have you considered simply being an adult, admitting that your tracks aren't individually watermarked, and moving on?

Ah... the "technicality" raises its ugly head.... How about you show us a single verifiable contract to produce a karaoke cd+g track from the artist Tom Lehrer? Just one. You can even block out the numbers. But I doubt you'd ever do that. If you are going to take the credit for the disc sales with your brand(s) over the years, you need to own up to the licensing as well. Otherwise you can't with integrity and ethics, count any of them.

You can talk about it until you're blue in the face because it deflects from talking about your trolling operation.... It's all your minion Avis has to throw in fray to distract from talking about you. Keep throwing poop at the wall, something might stick to the uninformed.

Is there a way to get the court transcripts for this, so we can determine what actually happened?

Nice to hear a lawyer finally admit that legal distinctions can be lies.

I think Sound Choice needs an attorney with a firmer grasp of the English language.

Sure, they can use some Expertise in the marketing department, but they are a very good company with their heads on tight. I fully support Pep products and services. Trycerasoft on the other hand remind me of those "get rich quick HYIP websites" where they get in, get out and find something to blame it's closing down.

Tricerasoft = Old news time to move along.

Talk about a cheerleader!! You have turned cheerleading into an art form.

and a company who has not put out anything in 8 years is not old news?
Tricerasoft was around much more recently and putting out new software.
logically that would make them newer news than PEP.
