So normally I wouldn't be bothered because the majority of the SAV series is total crap, but there are a few songs that people have been requesting, that I currently don't have any other version of and after listening to the track I have, it doesn't make me want to slit my wrists in pain. The problem is, my powercdg ripping program produces a track with double lyrics.

Anyone know of a program that will work. A long time ago someone posted something on the old dj board that was supposed to fix this problem, but I don't remember the name of it

Try CDG RIP
http://www.karaokeware.com/CDGRip.html

Otherwise I know MTU Microstudio works with those.

I had that same issue but it was the software I was using that was the issue with the double lines. it was either winCDGpro or PCDJ can't remember which one but and I had MTU microstudio for ripping and that didn't solve the double line issue. and that was one of the reasons I went to compuhost cause it was new and the demo got rid of the double line problems with SAV disc's.

Interesting it worked for all my SAV A, C & P series discs with no issues.

Actually I figured out it is the software I am using to play the files, not the files themselves that is the problem.

I played the exact same song with KMP Plus karaoke player and it was flawless.

Thanks for the advice/help tho all

I use kjams 2 for ripping/autonaming (internet) using the Best Setting for 320bit quality.
