Just curious for those of you who also do VJ work where you might purchase your music video's. I buy most of mine from TM Studios, great quality and good business to work with.

Promo Only. The only thing I don't like about them is that they have they're name in the credits (at the beginning & end of the video). When someone in the crowd see's "Promo Only" I often wonder if they think I am using pirated videos.

I’m a little uneasy giving my c card to subs services - it’s so hard to cancel at the end of the free term without being bombarded with more offers.

@Brian - I don't do any VJ work at all so I don't know what they offer. It was just a coincidence that I received the email the same time this thread popped up in the forums.

Not too crazy about seeing videos during a karaoke show... .......

My shows aren't too terribly busy, so having videos is definitely better than just playing the music. Even on our busy nights, playing the video of "Cupid Shuffle" is way better than just playing the song.

Interested in music videos, not to play at my regular weekly karaoke shows (I never do) but for private parties when they request half hour karaoke, half hour dance music (video as an added touch).

@ Brian, I do not do music videos during karaoke either, but I do have one night a week that I spin videos in a club. You can get the shuffle from the VJ Pro source that he posted in his link as well as other sources. It is fast becoming the "in" thing around here (videos)

My opinion is that if you play any DJ songs, AND if you provide video/signal feeds to TV's around the bar, you should absolutely be playing videos. Doesn't mean you have to go buy all new videos and throw away your MP3's, but all of your new music should be videos. Most of them are the exact same as the radio version, so you can extract the sound from the video, if desired.
