Looking for advise on wiring a - Male XLR to 1/4". I need to plug the 1/4 into the receiver of an AT freeway cordless mic, and the male XLR into a Behringer 3 channel mixer (DX 626). I know it probably doesn't matter, but for the sake of not having the "hum" should I use a balanced or non balanced 1/4 jack. I have a stockpile of extra connectors that I've save thoughout the years from bad cords etc so I'd just as soon solder the thing together myself then go buy one. |

There is an adapter that you can buy at Radio Shack but its pricey, 11 or 12 bucks. |
