The only thing I've seen that remotely resembled it was when I was a kid and we used to turn off the TV volume and put words in the peoples mouth.

Wierd Al Yankovic is on karaoke

Adam Sandler is on karaoke

Jim Carey is on karaoke

But they are all songs.

Maybe you just created a new craze. If so I guess you could consider this thread as your discovery document. I'm still working on the 3 slice toaster Idea.

Oh boy! What will they think of next?

What you might be looking for is more like an "open mic" night somewhere. Ain't never seen it run as a karaoke, but have seen them where all ya have to do is sign up and they'll give you your 15 mins or till the crowd runs ya off etc.

Well I guess I got AN answer. Lol You kids are fun.

I gotta lurk here more often.
Lots of jibes and puns. My kind of air.

It's not an original Idea, I did it in the late 90's in Sacramento. But haven't seen it since. I heard it was on laser disc, so it has a smell of 80's even... But I figured I would give it a shout here.

It was fun, cuz you had the comedy basic lines (blue tempo worded for timing) but could imp-rovise if the punchline was a stinker/oldie.

I enjoyed it and found it was very easy for the newbies to try their hand at such a scary profession. hehe

Hope someone pokes in here and has a possible lead. Or I may have to reinvent this wheel/CD.....

Thanks all!
I'm here til Thursday. Try the rat bisque it's fresh!
*badda-boom* clash!

Speakin' of old Roy D. Mercer, i got a couple of his tapes. They're some of the funniest things I've seen/heard. My oldest son just moved away from Oklahoma City last summer, and told me old R.D. Mercer had died recently (within the last year or so). But some of those "(@$%&#!) whoopin" stories were great
