Apparantly he pulled the auction early - gee wonder why!

Item has ended. Which means eBay didn't pull it.
If they had, it would give an error message along the lines of "item not found".
Doesn't surprise me. eBay isn't known for their sense of fair play.
They tend to pull legit auctions and leave the crooks. I suspect it has to do with the almighty dollar. This was a higher priced auction. 'nuff said.

Lon:
You got the web address wrong. It's http://endless-karaoke.com/
Wonder if he's lurking here and got wind that we were reporting it and pulled it before eBay would have a chance. That would make sense as there are some repercussions if you have too many violations. Maybe he's already had a few or is trying to "save" them and spread them out?

Looks like he also provides a clear schedule of venues and dates that would help any "pirate police" should they be so inclined to show up to the shows and ask to see their 1:1 copy of discs to prove they're legal!
Or, on the other hand, one could take it upon themselves to call the venues and let them know that they're hiring pirates. After that, the venue could be held responsible for knowingly using pirated music in their venues. Wonder how much they'd like the fines?

From their website:

EXPERIENCE:
Since 2001 ENDLESS KARAOKE has planned and coordinated over a hundred events. We have an excellent knowledge base. This is how we make our living, if we did not do a good job, we would not have stayed in business this long. The services that you choose to employ for your event will be your best resource for information, we do this all the time.

That's actually funny!
Only 100 events in 8 years? LMAO !!
I do WAAAYYY more than that in 6 months!

Nah if they get enough complaints they will usually do something about it. We've had auctions reported & pulled in the past. Although the crooks sometimes have several accounts & just move them from place to place for either a couple days or pull their auctions early - as in this case.

When I typed my response, Lon, it was from a page last night that I hadn't refreshed. You beat me to it. LOL
And yes, if they get enough, they will do something, but my experience has been that they tend to do things in a wholly inconsistent way.

His huge network of KJ/DJ has one gig in Anchorage. Alaska and one new one in Baltimore MD.

I see no other Karaoke Host links on the bazillion hit site.....

I thought you guys would get amused by it.

I reported it, and even sent him a note telling him he couldn't legally sell the system with the music... as for his franchise idea, if he wanted to go the route of Muzicmann in Oregon, they sold you the discs for the same rate they got them from k.com, etc... so THAT is legal!

Interesting that the auction photo's show a Crown XLS-402 in the rack...yet no mention of that in the description.

I guess those Gemini powered speakers are fine for everyone but him!

Maybe there should be sticky thread for posting auctions like this. Look at this guy, very blatant!

Yeah but even though he states he uploaded it to his computer, he is not selling a copy, but only the original disc.
The other auction was selling a loaded hard drive with no original discs. Probably what this idiot intends to do as well.

Well, even if he is using it only for his own disc, the end result is just the same. Its no different to him buying a loaded disc, he just gets to rip it in whichever quality he prefers..

it's legal to sell the disc after he bought it & loaded it. It's just not legal to OWN the tracks anymore!
